Face-offs in lacrosse can be one of the most challenging but most
rewarding parts of the game. They can change the entire outlook
of the game. Face-offs trigger fast breaks that in turn lead to
more possessions, which means more chances to score. Facing-
off is like playing a big game of rock, paper, scissors. This face-
off beats that one, but that face-off beats this one. You are never
really sure what the other guy is going to do, so you have to get
